HTML Tutorial 1
This is the first tutorial for html. Before you even get started you need to know wear to type all of the code. You can type the code in notepad that should just be right on your computer or you can go to google and get notepad++. I say this because it is color coded so you can easily find your mistakes. There are also a few other little helpful features that come with it. Now that we got that out of the way let us get started on the tutorial.
In this tutorial we will just be building the simplest website there is. A website that displays "HELLO WORLD" on the screen.
So hear is the code to do that:
<html>
<head>
<title>
</title>
</head>
<body>
<p>HELLO WORLD</p>
</body>
</html>
Now take a good look how it is set up because that is how you will set up all of your websites after this one. the <html> tag is the beginning of the website. The <head> tag is wear stylesheet and things like that go. The <title> tag is the tag that will be displayed inside your tabs. The <body> tag is wear most of the content of the site will be located. The <p> paragraph tag specifies that it is a paragraph. If you have noticed there is an opening tag and a closing tag. The closing tag is the same as the opening tag but has a / before the rest of it. So now to put this into sort of a chart so it might help you more.
<html>=beginning
<head>=headings
<title>=title of site
<body>=content of site
</(tag)>=closing tag
<p>=paragraph
Hear is a video of the tutorial.
